As Kingdom Sons and Daughters, it is of the most importance that we see ourselves as God sees us. For it is He who called us out of darkness (sin, death) into His marvelous light (salvation, life). God sees us as victorious and as over-comers of all things. The failure to see and comprehend this truth will cause procrastination in your obedience to obey God and receiving God’s best for your life. The second commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:39 this command spoken by Jesus reveals the principle truth that you cannot love beyond how you love yourself. True love is a reflection of how you love God and yourself. How you see yourself is important to the freedom your (inner man) lives. You are only as free as you see yourself. God tells us who we are and the power we have so that we may have the freedom to express and live victorious lives. It is important that you study the Word of God so that you can be confident in knowing who you are; know what you possess as a child of God and when you can possess it!! I encourage you to stop thinking negative about your situation and start looking to the Word to obtain the positive. Remember the Bible says, as a man thinketh, so is he---see yourself as God sees you!!
