Mark 11:11-14,19-21 KJV And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve. [12] And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: [13] And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet . [14] And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. [19] And when even was come, he went out of the city. [20] And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. [21] And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
Is there a situation or moment in your life that isn't producing the results you desire or expect? You're not alone. Here's a moment in Jesus' life where he desired to eat, however the tree he hoped to reap from wasn't ready to produce just yet. Jesus cursed the tree and it withered! Pay attention to the truth of the matter. It wasn't so much that Jesus spoke to the tree. It was the position from which He spoke to it. Jesus knew His authority. Just as He spoke death/curses to it, He could have spoken life/acceleration of time/blessings to it. The position He spoke from was later identified by Peter upon their return. Peter called Him, Master!Â
Because we are heirs to the Kingdom, we can walk and speak in the authority that Master Jesus has! Jesus commanded that His Words should overrule time and the season and the tree would wither regardless! As long as you're a Child of the Most High you have authority! Ephesians 1:5 states "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will," God saw long ago that we were going to be adopted into His family through His Son and produce His good pleasures! This was Jesus' purpose: to make you an heir! You're in the family!Â
Say this: "I am God's child! I will not be dismayed! I rule above my circumstances! I am a Master!"
You grab hold to this by faith and command your day! Command your moment! Command your harvest! Call in the desired outcome upon your situation. You are a Master! Rule. Dominate. Speak. Change.Â
Command it, Master!Â
